United WE Fund was built on one promise: every dollar you give to the shared fund goes directly to a person in this community. No institutional markup. No platform cut. The fund belongs to the people who fill it.
This page explains exactly how the platform works, what fees exist, who pays them, and what they are for.

People give small amounts into one shared fund. Requests are submitted, reviewed, and cleared from that fund in queue order. First in, first cleared. No one decides who gets help. The system does — fairly, transparently, and automatically.
Every submission is reviewed before it enters the queue. Every payout goes directly to the recipient through Stripe. United WE Fund never holds your money.

Open the app, choose an amount that feels right, and give. That is it. Your contribution joins the shared fund instantly. You can watch the fund grow in real time, read the stories in the live queue, and see whose life changes when it clears.
And if a story moves you enough to fund it yourself? You can fully clear any need in the queue at any time. One person. One need. Done.
United WE Fund runs on a simple, transparent queue. No one decides who goes first. The system does.
One hundred active requests sit in the live queue at any time. These are the requests the community is funding right now. When a request is cleared, the next person on the waitlist moves up automatically.
Approved requests waiting for a live queue slot sit on the waitlist. Your spot is held. You will be notified when you move up.
Every new submission enters the backlog first. Submissions are reviewed here before being approved to the waitlist. Once approved, you move up.
When the shared fund reaches a threshold, it runs automatically. It clears requests starting with smaller amounts and works up from there. This means smaller requests tend to clear faster. Larger requests may take a little longer — not because they matter less, but because the fund needs to accumulate enough to cover them fully. Every request is cleared completely. No partial payments. Ever.
If the fund cannot cover your request in a given cycle, it moves to the next one and comes back to you. You will never be skipped indefinitely.
You will be notified when:
There are two fees associated with United WE Fund. Neither one comes out of the shared fund. Here is exactly what they are and where they go.
Every payout is processed through Stripe, one of the most trusted payment platforms in the world. Stripe charges a standard processing fee on every transaction. This fee goes directly to Stripe. United WE Fund has no control over it and receives none of it.
This fee applies to all requests and is deducted from your payout at the time of transfer.
Requests of $1,000 or more require a document upload. A small fee applies to cover the cost of reviewing that document.
This fee is paid upfront at the time you submit — before your request enters the queue. It does not come out of your payout. It pays the people who do this work: reviewing documents, clearing flagged submissions, and protecting the integrity of the queue for everyone waiting in it. That is a real job and it deserves real compensation.
You choose how your document is reviewed:
AI-Assisted Review ( $2 ) — faster, processed within minutes.
Human Review ( $4 ) — a real person on our team, allow 72 hours or more.
If your request is under $1,000, no document is required and no review fee applies. Stripe will still apply their standard processing fee, however.
For requests of $1,000 or more, we ask you to upload a bill, invoice, statement, or similar document. We need to see your name and the amount. That is it.
Our system automatically blacks out sensitive financial identifiers on your document — account numbers, card numbers, routing numbers — before any reviewer sees it. You can also do this yourself before uploading. A marker over your account number works perfectly. We only need your name and the dollar amount.
Your document is deleted. We do not store it, archive it, or share it. Once the review is complete it is gone.
The AI system we use for document scanning is prohibited by law from retaining or training on personal data submitted through the API. Your document is processed in the moment and discarded immediately.
United WE Fund was designed with security at every layer. Here is what that looks like in practice.
Every person who submits a request must verify their identity through Stripe before their submission is accepted. This is enforced at the server level. It cannot be bypassed.
Uploaded documents are automatically redacted before any review occurs. Sensitive identifiers are removed before the document reaches any system or person. Original documents are deleted after review. Nothing is stored.
We use AI to assist with document review for larger requests. The AI system we use operates under strict commercial terms that prohibit retaining, storing, or training on personal data. Your information is processed once and discarded. It is never used for any other purpose and never shared with any third party.
Nine server-side fraud prevention rules run on every submission. These include identity verification, annual limits per person and per household, cooling off periods between requests, duplicate document detection, content moderation, and community flagging. These rules cannot be bypassed through the app interface — they are enforced at the database level.
All payments and payouts are processed through Stripe. United WE Fund never holds your money. Payouts go directly from Stripe to your connected account. We do not have access to your bank account, card number, or financial credentials.
We collect only what we need to operate the platform. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for any purpose other than running United WE Fund.
