How to request account deletion

To request that your United WE Fund account and associated data be deleted, send an email to info@unitedwefundapp.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request," using the email address associated with your account. We will process your request and confirm once it is complete.

What gets deleted

Your name, email address, and any photos or documents you submitted as part of a request will be deleted from our systems.

What may be retained

Certain information may be retained even after account deletion where required by law or necessary to protect the integrity of the fund. This includes records of gifts given or funds received, which we are required to retain for financial recordkeeping and tax purposes. Identity verification information held directly by Stripe is retained according to Stripe's own retention policies and applicable financial regulations, separate from United WE Fund.

Retention period

Financial transaction records are retained for a minimum of seven years in accordance with standard financial recordkeeping requirements. All other personal information is deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request.
